I know it seems like they’ve been gone for a while, but thankfully the ladies of Basketball Wives: L.A. are back on the radar as the show begins shooting soon! We’re sure to get updates on all the craziness…and first on the list? It’s the tumultuous relationship between Gloria Govan and basketball beau Matt Barnes.
Following their very nasty and public breakup last year, the duo was recently spotted in West Hollywood at Greystone Manor. Also partying with the pair? Rihanna, Tyga and Drake were reportedly also at the club. The couple, who called off their engagement last season, were seen holding hands and getting cozy throughout the night.
It’s interesting to hear the two are apparently back together, seeing as it was just November when rumors that Matt was dating Eva Longoria were swirling amid several sightings of the basketballer and the small-screen queen. Both of course denied any hanky panky and gave the age-old “just friends” response.
Gloria Govan revealed mire about her “BBW: LA” drama and romance with Matt Barnes in a recent interview with web host Staci Harris. And guess who tagged along for the interview….MATT!
Gloria Govan recently stopped by Staci Harris’ web show where she dished on “BBW:LA,” the Kardashians (mainly going in on Kris Jenner), and her on and off again romance with Matt Barnes.
And guess who came to the interview with her……Mr. Matt Barnes! (The two are pictured above with the web show hosts.) Guess we were right when we speculated last week the two were getting back together.
At the (4:26) mark, Gloria is asked about what happened during/after the “BBW:LA” taping with her split from Matt and HE chimes in saying “she was still giving up the a$$.” Classy.

In 2010, Shaunie blamed Laura of having an affair with Shaunie’s now ex-husband, Shaquille O’Neal.
“The information she was given about Shaq and I was false, and she took it and ran with it. I didn’t appreciate it at all and for that reason I will never speak to her again,” she explained.
Laura said that she desired to do “Basketball Wives: LA” so folks would be able to see who she is as opposed to what they’ve heard on “Basketball Wives: Miami.”
“I mean, there were five grown women talking about me and they had no idea who I was. That was unfair, but it goes to show you where their mentality was,” said Laura.
Even though her fiancé Gilbert Arenas wasn’t too excited for her to be on the show, she claims they’re still doing better than most married couples.
“I knew the person before I knew the athlete,” said Laura. “Whether he still plays ball or not, I’m still going to be married to the person that I fell in love with. We’re not announcing the date yet. When we do, it will be small and intimate.”
With “Basketball Wives” Miami cast coming back in the coming months, Gloria Govan is working on keeping her name out there along with her good looks. Gloria sexed it up for a new hot revealing shoot which she is featured on the cover of DIMEZ Magazine, and on the inside pages. It’s only the third issue of the magazine, and she’s scorching on the cold Malibu beaches.
Gloria is wearing a brown monokini on the cover and keeps herself a bit covered up. Leaving things to the imagination?

Last season on The Basketball Wives LA, fans saw Gloria Govan dump her long-time boyfriend Matt Barnes and close the door on their relationship, despite having children together. Although the couple had once considered getting married, Gloria Govan seemed disappointed in the fact that Matt couldn’t commit sooner. Fans haven’t seen what the couple has been up to since, but Matt spoke out at the latest Lakers game this past week about his life. Although the question wasn’t focused on his private life, he spilled the details.
The interviewer asked if what he would be going if he wasn’t playing so much basketball and his answer focused on his children. He would be a stay-at-home dad and he pointed out that he had a hard time raising his children with his busy schedule. The answer sounded like he was a single father and he didn’t mention Gloria’s name at all. He didn’t talk about her role on Basketball Wives LA either. Could she be an absentee mother?
According to Black Sports Online, Gloria has been spotted on the clubbing scene, leaving Matt Barnes in charge of all the parental duties.

She showed up on the red carpet with Gray and she looked extremely happy. A lot of people have had nasty things to say about him, despite the rumors of Gloria cheating on Matt with a rapper.
